Land Rover Series 1 Butlers Atlantic 882 inspection lamp new old stock 1953 Lucas
The new old stock boxed inspection lamp is sold. The one with the missing crown is still available.
This is a brand new 1953 Atlantic 882 mk II inspection lamp by Butlers. Very rare since most were branded Lucas. Butlers was the manufacturer of the early Land-Rover Series 1 front lights, before Lucas took over. Inspection lamps can be plugged into the red and black sockets which are found on every Land Rover Series’ dashboard.
The markings on the body read:

There is also a broad arrow war department marking with ‘A M’, probably Air Ministry
The inspection lamp on offer is military issue new old stock and comes complete with its correct two pin plug and hanging hook. It can be fitted with either 12v or 24v indicator bulb.
